Seedorf believes in AC Milan

Former AC Milan and Netherland midfielder Clarence Seedorf believes that AC Milan is progressing well and that they should be able to compete for the title in the seasons to come.


He believes that Vincenzo Montella is doing a great job at AC Milan and that he has successfully amassed a team of young players that can bring the club forward. Clarence Seedorf believes that for a long time the club has made a mistake of signing expensive stars that have failed to deliver the goods.

He believes that the team now has some quality young players that can help move the club forward and believes that they are doing it well.

Clarence Seedorf said that AC Milan has been struggling for so long in the shadows of clubs such as Juventus and it is high time that they come back to the top of Italian football. CLARENCE SEEDORF, FILIPPO INZAGHI AND NOW CRISTIAN BROCCHI HAVE FAILED WITH MILAN

The once revered Red and Black jersey team in Europe have sunk so low that different coaching crew consisting of Clarence Seedorf, Filippo Inzaghi and now Cristian Brocchi have failed to resuscitate the team.

They have all had differing opinion on how to tackle the problems in AC Milan but none has been able to achieve anything substantial at the club.


Former player, Gennaro Gattuso has always had strong opinions as he kept blaming the situation on the players. The Italian midfielder was behind the ownership of Silvio Berlusconi and the direction given by Adriano Galliani. He claimed that the current crop of players lacked identity. Many players and stakeholders have made differing comments in the light of Milan’s recurrent disappointments. Many argued that return of the team to the regular Italian defensive style and targeting the Coppa Italia.

Zvonimir Boban weighed in advising the play to be more creative and flamboyant. He claimed Christian Brocchi was out of his depth at the club. He also insisted that the club should not be sold off as it is widely reported by the media. He also showed support for former player Paulo Maldini as the figure head of this New Milan as coach. Clarence Seedorf celebrates his 40th birthday

Clarence Seedorf has celebrated his 40th birthday on April 1st. The gifted Dutch midfielder has played for different European clubs among which Ajax, Real Madrid, Inter, and AC Milan. He also tried his hands at management with AC Milan recently.

Seedorf started his career with Ajax during the 1992-1993 season. He will go on and make 90 appearances for the Dutch team while scoring 11 goals. During his time at Ajax, he will win the league title twice in 1994 and 1995. He also won the Cup in 1993 and the biggest prize of all the Champions League during the 1994-1995 season.

Clarence Seedorf did not want to continue his contract with Ajax and signed a new contract with Sampdoria. He will manage to make 32 appearances for the Italian club and scored 3 goals during the process. Despite his side failing to win any silverware during the season, his good form will attract the interest of Spanish club, Real Madrid, where he stayed for 3 seasons. Read more »
