ASTON VILLA INTERESTED IN RANGERS ACE
Aston Villa are in pole position to sign Colombian international Alfredo Morelos. The Ranger’s top man has been heavily linked with Aston Villa. A side that is desperately in need of more goals to boost their chance of survival in the Premier League.
After the capture of Wesley for 22m in the summer, Dean Smith can rely on Davies and Ivorian international Jonathan Kodija. Both are currently struggling this season, Davies is out injured and Kodija has struggled to settle to the pace of the league, he has played only 20 minutes of premier league football this season.
So, it is no surprise to see another striker being linked to Villa Park. On the path of Morales, his latest comment has suggested he is interested in a move to the premier league, declaring any potential offer would be tempting.
Morales is having a fine season to remember, as he has scored 22 goals in 26 appearances for Steven Gerrard’s side. He has 12 goals in the league for Rangers this season who are level on points with Scottish Premier League leaders Celtic on 31 points.
Aston Villa are not the only club linked with Morales, as Crystal Palace and Tottenham are among the premiership side interested in the in-form striker. But Aston Villa are very confident of getting their mark.
Aston Villa are 17th on the premiership, 3 points ahead of 18th placed Watford. They have produced some interesting display in the league this season most notably the 5-1 thrashing of Norwich away from home.
Meanwhile there are reports that former AC Milan boss Clarence Seedorf could make return to manage in the Serie A. It is understood that the Dutch Legend has been contacted by a number of clubs regarding the managerial post.
Seedorf has not enjoyed the best of managerial career with the former Botafogo ace sacked by Cameroon in June after a woeful AFCON campaign.
