Seedorf Praises Balotelli

Former coach of Ac.Milan, Clarence Seedorf exposed to the public that even though his time in charge of the Italian team was limited to less than an official season, it was still an enjoyable moment and the Dutchman went on giving a special praise to Mario Balotelli as well as stating that the only thing Balotelli needs is to mature as a man.

Seedorf said: “It was really exciting to work with him, he’s very young, but he’s so talented. He has great will to improve his game and he did’’

“I think the most difficult thing for him, is to really mature as a man, because on the field, he has shown the skills, not as consistently as we’d like. But I think it is all to do with maturity, getting more mature and becoming a real man.

Clarence Seedorf was appointed as the head coach of Ac.Milan a few months ago in January as he replaced Massimiliano Allegri but his time in San Siro did not last very long as he was sacked after 4 months.

Mario Balotelli is considered by many to be one of the best youngsters in the world but he has consistently been engaged in a series of activities which has led to the Italian attacker getting sanctioned or having his reputation further damaged.

During his time as a player of Inter Milan, in a Serie A match he launched his jersey to the pitch and in an interview he was seen wearing a jersey of the clubs’ rivals Ac.Milan while Jose Mourinho has labeled him as an: ‘’unmanageable’’ player.

The future of Mario Balotelli remains unclear as he has a contract with Ac.Milan that expires in 2017 but there are a number of clubs interested in signing him and the Italian attacker has not lived up to the expectations that originated since he signed with the club in San Siro.

Inzaghi Lined Up For Next Manager

Clarecence Seedorf spent 5 months in charge of Ac.Milan’s first team before being sacked as the Dutchman is being replaced by Filippo Inzaghi who used to be the coach of the youth team.

The owner of Ac.Milan, Berlusconi said: “We’ll see at the next board meeting what solution we find for Clarence Seedorf but that’s enough talking about the past, we are looking to the future. I’ve seen that Inzaghi is very determined, hungry for victory and absolutely in line with everything we want Milan to be. We want a team which wins, plays convincingly and entertains the fans. I hope that next season we can field a team which can start a new cycle. We have to become among the top competitors again like we have been for the past 30 years, at the moment we are between one cycle and another.”

Inzaghi remained being a player of Ac.Milan for 12 seasons as he made over 200 league goals for the Italian club and scored on 73 occasions. Bringing back former players and turning them into staff members of the club is something that Ac.Milan has recently started doing and they will continue that trend by turning Inzaghi into the manager of the first team as he replaces Clarence Seedorf who despite only had 5 months as the coach, he made a significant impact and overall helped the club avoid the bottom spots of Serie A during the previous season but it wasn’t enough for him to secure his position in the club.

Ac.Milan released a statement in which they said: “Clarence Seedorf has been dismissed. Filippo Inzaghi has been appointed as first-team coach, and is under contract until 30 June 2016.”

Seedorf announced his retirement from playing football when he was a player of Botafogo earlier in January as he decided to hang up his boots in order to have enough time to take up the managerial position at Ac.Milan but now that he was sacked, it remains unclear what the Dutchman will be doing from now on.
