AC Milan and Dutch football legend Clarence Seedorf only had a word of encouragement for Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk as he stepped up his recovery from the injury that has kept him on the sidelines for the better part of the last five months. Clarence Seedorf sent his word of encouragement via the Liverpool player’s Instagram page. Clarence Seedorf replied with an emoji to emcourage Virgil Van Dijk to keep going after his ordeal this season. Van Dijk stepped on the pitch for the first time since his injury and he posted the picture on his official Instagram page thereby leading to the replies from AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf and others. Apart from Clarence Seedorf, former Liverpool skipper Sami Hyypia and British rapper cum Liverpool fan Yungen all emcouraged Virgil Van Dijk as he continues his comeback from injury.

Van Dijk made his return to light training regimes at Liverpool last week Wednesday and that would have delighted the Liverpool faithfuls, who are desperate to have the Dutchman back in the Reds squad. There’s still hope that Van Dijk would be playing again before the end of this season. Virgil Van Dijk suffered the big knee injury from the late challenge from Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Van Dijk was forced off in the first half after the challenge made by Jordan Pickford during the first league meeting between Liverpool and hosts Everton this season.
